Plymouth in 1914 – Medical Practitioners in the Three Towns

Today’s post is of 2 double page spreads from Doidges showing all of the Medical Practitioners you were able to consult back in 1914.

I wonder how many of those practices are still in the same location today , or even if the roads still exist.

There’s also another picture from the illustrations section showing Plymouth Regatta, presumably from 1913, with Plymouth Hoe in the background. On second thoughts it looks rather more like Firestone point, near to Millbay Docks and the (now) Devil’s Point car park.
